If you have never been to a cenote now is your chance. Here are a few in our area and there will be more added as we go to them.
This one is my favorite. Going to Cenote Zapote is like visiting another planet. With 4 cenotes on the ground you get an all around great experience. Two open air cenotes and two cave like ones, all with that silky smooth cenote water. This is one of the pricier ones in the area at 800 pesos per person (at the time of this vlog -2023) but keep in mind this is for 4 cenotes and a tequila tasting. Check out the video for more information.
2. Siete Bocas - This beautiful cenote means 7 mouths in English. This is referring to the 7 different ways you can enter the cenote. Two of them are actually for scuba divers but the rest of us have 4 different entrances including a jump off of a 20 ft cliff. With palapas, and lounge chairs around the grounds it's also a great place to relax and have a picnic while enjoying your day. Don't forget when you are there to keep an eye out for the toucans that love to eat the berries from the trees and they also have goats, turkeys and guinea pigs. An easy stairway down into one of the entrances makes this a good one to go to if you have slight mobility issues. Enjoy the video.
